OUR CLIENT: Known for their success in the townhome market, our client is seeking an Experienced Residential Draftsperson to join their team! This is an ideal role for an residential Production Draftee with SLHC / Townhome experience to join a builder committed to fostering a fantastic company culture. THE ROLE: Reporting to the Drafting Manager your responsibilities will include thorough understanding of townhome projects. Your responsibilities include, but are note limited to the below: Achieve production targets within set time frames Ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality is maintained at all times Contributing design ideas for standard range homes and facades. Producing presentation sketches for new designs. Making changes to standard medium density drawings. Draw and document product masters, sales plans, options and details. Ensuring drawings meet quality standards and regulations Updating plans with multiple variations, drawing & assessing buildability as you go. KEY REQUIREMENTS To be successful in the role, you will have previous experience in residential construction, preferably volume. Proven AUTOCAD drafting skills and experience. A minimum 2 years experience in residential construction in a similar role - SLHC understanding essential. Townhome production drafting experience - highly regarded. Effective communications skills. Knowledge and experience with Building Construction, Standards, Rescode and Regulations. Proven drafting skills with the ability to draw homes from start to finish without an offshore team.
